On February 7th, 2024, the Macau Grand Prix Museum showcased the Lynk & Co 03 TCR race car from the Shell Teamwork Lynk & Co Racing. This particular vehicle was driven by Ma Qinghua on the Guia Circuit and is now permanently on display for visitors.
The Lynk & Co 03 TCR race car holds the distinction of being the first Chinese brand race car to be featured at the Macau Grand Prix Museum. In 2021, Ma Qinghua piloted this specific race car, securing victory in Race 1 and claiming second place in Race 2 in the 68th Macau Grand Prix – Macau Guia Race.
Teamwork Motorsport has been actively participating in the Macau Grand Prix since its inception and has frequently graced the highest podium. In 2020, the Shell Teamwork Lynk & Co Racing team became the first Asian team to collaborate with Lynk & Co, competing in TCR Asia and TCR China. To date, they have achieved an impressive 63 podium finishes, while also establishing a legendary record of “four years, eight championships,” thereby showcasing the prowess of Chinese motorsports to the world.
The inclusion of Ma Qinghua’s Lynk & Co 03 TCR race car in the Macau Grand Prix Museum serves as both a recognition of the strength of Chinese racing and a means of promoting the preservation of racing culture.
In the 2024 season, as dedicated practitioners in the field of motorsports, Teamwork will continue to unite with Ma Qinghua, Zhang Zhiqiang, David Zhu, and Sunny Wong, competing with the Lynk & Co 03 TCR in the TCR China series. Their participation will contribute to the advancement of Chinese motorsports and bear witness to the flourishing development of Chinese racing.
