Teamwork Motorsport Completes Geely Super Cup PRO Season Finale with Determined Performance

The Geely Super Cup PRO brought its 2025 season to a close at Thailand’s iconic Bira Circuit. Amidst intense on-track rivalry, Teamwork Motorsport’s YANG Haoyu and Martin FOO rose to the occasion, showcasing impressive competitive prowess that underscored their standout performances in the season finale.

Qualifying

Located in Pattaya, Thailand, the Bira Circuit stands as a demanding small-scale mountain track—its winding layout, bumpy surface, and the region’s sweltering temperatures combine to pose a rigorous test for drivers’ physical stamina and car setup precision. Adding to the intensity, the event welcomed FIA TCR World Tour ace Santiago Urrutia to the grid, elevating the overall competition level.

Teamwork Motorsport rose to the occasion in qualifying, with both drivers delivering standout performances. Martin FOO clocked a time of 1:11.416 to secure fifth place overall, while YANG Haoyu followed closely behind in seventh. Their strong showings laid a solid foundation for the team’s pursuits in the upcoming races.

Race 1

The opening of the first race of the final round was marked by a dramatic incident, leading to a red flag stoppage. After the restart, Martin FOO and YANG Haoyu occupied fourth and sixth positions, respectively. Although Martin FOO’s position slipped slightly during the race, he showed tenacious fighting spirit in the final stages, overtaking several opponents to finish fifth. YANG Haoyu maintained a steady pace, crossing the finish line in sixth.

Race 2

In the second race, Martin FOO moved up to fourth place after the start, launching a strong attack on the leading group. YANG Haoyu held steady in sixth. In a fierce wheel-to-wheel battle, Martin FOO briefly climbed into the top three overall, ultimately finishing fourth, narrowly missing out on a podium finish. YANG Haoyu maintained a consistent performance throughout, securing valuable points for the team.

Race 3

Per race regulations, the grid for Race 3 was set by reversing the top eight qualifying finishers. YANG Haoyu and Martin FOO maintained second and fourth position respectively after the start. The race was neutralized by a safety car on the opening lap due to an incident. After the restart, the Teamwork Motorsport drivers launched aggressive attacks, with YANG Haoyu successfully defending against rivals behind and Martin FOO continuing to apply pressure ahead. In the intense battle, Martin FOO briefly climbed to second overall, while YANG Haoyu also held a position at the front.

After the pit stop window opened, YANG Haoyu was involved in a collision during the pit stop, unfortunately ending his race prematurely, which also brought out a red flag. After the restart, Martin FOO continued to hold a position at the front, but then suffered an unexpected puncture, preventing him from continuing his attack.

Despite the late-race setbacks, Teamwork Motorsport completed the entire 2025 Geely Super Cup PRO campaign. Over the season, the squad competed at five iconic circuits — Chengdu, Shaoxing, Zhuzhou, Ningbo, and Thailand’s Bira Circuit — navigating six rounds of fierce competition with unwavering morale and consistent on-track performance.

As the 2025 season draws to a close, anticipation runs high for Teamwork Motorsport to carry forward its fighting spirit and achieve even greater heights in the upcoming campaign!
