AM Class Domination & Top-Tier Charge for Teamwork Motorsport at Shaoxing

Demonstrating remarkable consistency across both races in TCR China Championship Round 3 of Shaoxing, Teamwork Motorsport’s Paul POON dominated the AM Class with a flawless double victory, while teammate LI Guanghua deliveried a storming drive to break into the elite top pack. The combined efforts delivered a significant points haul for the Clubs’ Cup Championship campaign.

Qualifying

Paul POON delivered a qualifying masterclass, not only dominating his AM Class but also stunning the field with a sensational P4 overall – his blistering lap time humbling several Pro drivers. Teamwork Motorsport’s charge was further bolstered by LI Guanghua, who carved out a crucial P8 starting position, putting both cars in prime contention for Race 2.

Race 1

With lightning reflexes off the line, POON rocketed into Turn 1 in a thrilling wheel-to-wheel duel, momentarily grabbing second overall before wisely consolidating in third. Despite two safety car interruptions, he held firm to claim AM Class honors, just shy of the overall podium. LI Guanghua mounted an impressive charge from P8, slicing through the field to claim sixth and valuable championship points in a display of calculated aggression.

Race 2

From his second-row starting position, LI Guanghua showcased impeccable racecraft, deftly navigating the opening lap chaos to momentarily seize the race lead, before executing a steady drive to secure a valuable P4 finish. Not to be outdone, Paul POON launched another AM Class masterclass from P7, systematically picking off rivals to claim fifth overall while utterly dominating his category.

Fresh off their Shaoxing triumph, Teamwork Motorsport holds strong in second place in the Clubs’ Cup Championship and mounts unstoppable momentum into August’s Ordos International Circuit battle. As the championship storms into Inner Mongolia’s vast grasslands, the team hungers for more podium glory.
