Automobile General Association Macao-China (AAMC), established in 1985, is a non-profit making organisation that governs and hosts automobile sports including go-karts, motorcycles, and touring cars for Macau drivers. Over the years, Macau Touring Car Series (MTCS) has been the most popular series among Macau drivers and has nurtured a good number of good drivers and they all graduated to race in other higher categories such as CTCC, GT, and endurance racing. Starting in 2017, MTCS has also been the Macau GP qualification race series for both Macau and Hong Kong drivers.
Since 2015, Paul Poon, Samson Fung, Andrew Lo and Alex Fung have been piloting the Suncity Peugeot RCZ 1.6T to great success, including Paul Poon double wins (2015 & 2016), Samson Fung’s 2nd (2015), and Alex Fung’s 3rd (2016) in Macau GP.
In 2018, Alex Fung, Paul Poon, Andrew Lo dominated and won the overall 1-2-3 in MTCS 1.6T class. While Samson Fung and Sunny Wong qualified to Macau GP with the newly-built Audi TT-RS and VW Golf TCR. This year the team is setting its targets high in the Macau GP 1.6T & >1950cc class.
